8 Latrines and 1 wash basin in Eretore School

Improving sanitation does not only improve health but also human dignity and their way of life.  In Tanzania the lack of sanitation and hygiene are at the root of the general bad health.

When people go to the toilet in the open, human residues are left exposed, which are a source of illnesses and contamination specially of water sources.

Also, on the way to places to go to the toilet, women are more exposed to sexual harassment and animal attacks.
